An intruder has once again breached the defenses of a school in Uvalde Texas. Only this time it was an inspector testing campus safety.
According to Gary Patterson, the interim superintendent of Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, an inspector was able to gain entry during the “intruder selection audit.” This was shared during a school board meeting on Monday.
Reportedly, three different Uvalde schools were selected for the audit, but Patterson was not at liberty to share which school specifically failed the test. So, there is currently no way of knowing which school it actually was, though it is important to note that Robb Elementary School is permanently closed.
Robb Elementary School was the site of one of the deadliest school shootings in history earlier this year. On May 24, 2022, at approximately 11:30 am, 18-year-old Salvador Rolando Ramos gained entry to the school. The result was the deaths of 19 children and 2 teachers.
