Trump rolls out education platform for 2024

Former President Trump has rolled out his education platform for the 2024 election. As many experts predicted, it contains many of the common conservative education themes that people have grown accustomed to over the past couple of years.

Critical race theory and LGBTQ+ issues were the main targets of his proposed policies:

“First we will cut federal funding for any school or program pushing critical race theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto our children,” said Trump in a video first posted by Politico.

Trump also echoed other popular conservative talking points about race-based “discrimination” and keeping “men out of women’s sports.”

This comes on the heels of one of Trump’s potential primary opponents, Gov. Ron DeSantis, blocking a new African American studies Advanced Placement course from being taught in Florida schools.
